ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
I'm a UF/PNR author and my newest releases are Blood Spirit, the third book in my new series Sons of Navarus, and the Sons short stories Longing and The Deepest Cut.
For me, a book does more than just tell a story. It transports readers away from their daily lives to another place where they can be a part of something different than the common and everyday. I'm always so touched when readers tell me they felt like they were a part of the story when they read my books.
When I'm not writing, I can be found reading romance novels but often mysteries, cookbooks, and anything dealing with ancient and medieval history and European history, in general. I also love the outdoors, so I enjoy the wonderful weather Pennsylvania has to offer. I live there with my son and a herd of pets.

PG Excerpt from Blood Avenged (Book 1 in the Sons of Navarus series):
Vasilije looked around the
room he’d just appeared in, his body alert to any danger. He’d followed the
sense he’d gotten before Teagan’s spirit had been extinguished and knew he was
in his home in New Orleans. Everything about the place was Teagan—from the
Turkish cigarettes he smoked, to the bottle of Guinness that sat on the coffee
table, to the musky scent that identified him as one of Vasilije’s vampires.
And the beautiful woman
staring at him.
“Who did this?” Vasilije
demanded.
Big brown eyes stared
back at him. “I don’t know. It happened so fast. I left to grab another six pack
and when I got back, someone had a stake...”
Vasilije stood watching
the stranger as she cried, needing more information but forced to wait until
there was a break in her tears.
“Who are you?”
The woman dried her eyes
and sniffled. “Sasa. I was his girlfriend.”
At the use of the past
tense, she began tearing up again, but Vasilije didn’t have time for it. Whoever
had staked Teagan couldn’t have gone too far and any more time wasted with
Sasa’s crying may mean he’d lose the fucker.
He moved to leave and her
hand caught his arm.
“Please don’t
go.”
She looked up at him with
such a sad expression for a moment he didn’t want to go. But he couldn’t let
Teagan’s murderer escape. Vasilije touched his hand to hers to remove it from
his arm, but all this did was make her squeeze tighter.
“Please,” she begged in a
voice that matched the pathetic look in her eyes. “Don’t leave me alone
now.”
The urge to tear his arm
from her hold and leave her to her misery spiked in him, but it was overruled by
that small part of him that understood her sadness.
“Fine. Follow me. And
keep up. And if I tell you to do something, do it. Do you
understand?”
For a second, she looked
surprised, and Vasilije thought he was going to hear a string of irritating
questions. None came, though, and when he turned to head out the door, she
followed silently.
At the street, he stopped
and inhaled deeply, hoping to sense something that would help him find Teagan’s
killer. Nothing came. But there’d been something in the apartment...something
that he was sure he recognized.
Eyes closed, he let his
other senses take over, but he got nothing. “What did he look like?”
“I don’t know. It was so
quick. Blond, I think.”
Vasilije snapped his head
to the left to look at her. “Man or woman?”
Instantly, Tatiana’s
threat repeated in his head. Now I
take something you cherish. Had she staked one of his vampires in
retaliation over Alex? Vasilije doubted even Tatiana would stake a vampire
herself, but she wasn’t above having someone else do it.
“Man.”
That
didn’t mean Tatiana wasn’t behind Teagan’s murder. And who was this woman who
claimed to be Teagan’s girlfriend?
“Did
you see which direction he ran?”
Sasa
shook her head sadly. “No, I’m sorry. Are you his
sire?”
“How do you know about
that?” he asked, more suspicious than he’d been just a minute
earlier.
“Teagan was a vampire,
and you just look like a sire would. That’s what you call them,
right?”
As she spoke, Vasilije
studied her under the streetlight’s glow, still unsure she was who she claimed
to be. Not bad looking, she seemed like someone Teagan could like. He’d always
preferred brunettes with big eyes and bigger tits, and although she didn’t
measure up to porn star level, she still had a nice body. He could see her as
Teagan’s girlfriend.
Adult Excerpt from Blood Betrayed (Book 2 in the Sons of Navarus series):
"Solenne,"
he said almost in a whisper to not startle her, but it didn't work. She spun
around with her arms covering her full breasts that
strained against the thin fabric of her tank top, but she couldn't cover the
bruises along her collarbone and across her shoulders.
Obviously inflicted that
night, their redness had begun to fade to a deep purple where fingers had
pressed roughly into her tender skin. Solenne saw the look of shock he didn't
try to hide from his eyes and scrambled to grab a shirt from the back of a
nearby chair.
"What is
this?"
"Nothing. Just leave it
be."
Saint took the shirt from
her hand and threw it on the bed. "No." Dipping his head, he softly pressed his
lips to the darkest bruise on her left shoulder. Fucking
Archon!
Gingerly, he ran his
fingers over her skin, gently touching each bruise before raising his head to
look at her. "Solenne, I promise you here and now I'm going to kill the one who
did this. I'll drain him drop by drop until he begs for the release a stake will
bring."
Eyes wide with tears
looked up at him, their blue color pale and watery. "Saint, don't touch me like
this if you don't mean it."
He meant it. He'd meant
it in every dream he'd had of finally returning to her. Taking her face in his
hands, he kissed her long and deep, drinking in the delicious taste of the lips
he'd missed for so long.
God, he'd yearned to once
again feel the touch of her skin next to his! Year upon year of lonely nights
interrupted only by pale replacements ebbed from his memory now as his hands
once again learned of the woman he'd always loved.
Solenne molded to him,
setting his senses ablaze. His body craved to join with her, to finally reclaim
that piece of his heart lost so painfully nearly a century ago. He slid his
hands under her shirt to her breasts and worshipped them—their fullness in his
palms, their deep pink tips pebbled from desire that begged for his mouth's
attention.
"Come."
Taking her hand, he led
her to the shower. "Don't move." A quick twist of the faucet handle and warm
water streamed down from the showerhead.
"Do I look like I need a
shower?" she asked in a teasing tone as he slipped the tank top over her
head.
Saint looked down at her
sexy mouth as he slid his thumbs under the waist of her shorts. "Always fighting
me."
Crouching in front of
her, he slid the shorts down her legs and off her feet. Eye level with her
pussy, he looked up and licked his lips. "I hope you don't plan on fighting me
now."
He didn't wait for a
reply before he drew his finger up her wet slit. Solenne's eyebrows knitted and
she bit her lip. Her eyes slowly closed and tiny moans filled his
ears.
"Don't
close your
eyes. Watch me."
Solenne obeyed and her
eyes grew wide as he slid his thumbs through her delicate folds to open her up,
unveiling to his eager eyes her excited clit. Saint inched closer to her soft
skin and whispered against her, "I've waited so long for this."
